What

Nearly 50 million Americansincluding almost 17 million childrenlive in poverty, and that number is rising. According to the U.S. Census Bureau figures, the number of Americans living in poverty rose by 3.8 million between 2008 and 2009.

Each year, Islamic Relief USA's Day of Dignity project provides our fellow Americans in need with on-site meals, canned goods, clothing, school supplies, medical care, physical exams, dental care, first aid, job training, and many other social services to all who attend.

In 2010, Day of Dignity recruited over 2,000 volunteers to serve over 20,000 people throughout the U.S. This year Islamic Relief USA will be supporting Day of Dignity sites in 15 locations, including major cities like Detroit, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Seattle, Atlanta, New York, Washington, D.C. and Baltimore.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!!

This year Project Downtown and Project Hope Atlanta will be traveling to Clarkston, GA to help the refugee community on behalf of Islamic Relief. This is one of the easiest ways to get the great reward that Allah has offered us- to help the poor and the needy and the orphans and the widows from all over the world.

Jazak'Allah for checking out the event, please come out and invest any amount of your valuable time for this effort and gain the enormous reward.
