Every year the Atlanta Community Food Bank has a Hunger Run/walk to raise funds and awareness. to assist local communities in need. Many of the local food banks/pantries and shelters receive assistance from them. The Islamic Speakers Bureau (ISB) has participated the past several years as well as several Atlanta area Masjids. What we are trying to do is unite these efforts by walking together under one big umbrella the ISB as well as maintain our individual Masjids/organization. Each member can wear their own Masjid t-shits, the ISB will have t-shirts at a cost of approx $12ea ( depends on size of order) but what is MOST important is uniting and walking together. PARKING IS FREE! All walkers and runners are encouraged to park in the onsite Turner Field Blue Lot to avoid crossing the street. The Blue Lot is on Capitol Avenue just above the Green Lot where the event is held Registration begins at noon. Come early to enjoy entertainment, food and games before the races begin.
