Event Description

You've heard of AC Milan, you've heard of Inter Milan, but have you ever heard of Eid Milan?

Eid-ul-Fitr is probably the most important day of the year in Pakistan, obviously only after Valentine's Day. Eid Milan is the celebration of Eid! Come celebrate Eid with the amazing Pakistani Students Association at Georgia Tech. Unfortunately (or fortunately) due to popular request, we will NOT be having any music at this event. We were told the Students Center Ballroom roof will melt under (or over) the enchanting melody and romantic lyrics of Pakistani music.

Come join us for an incredible night that will include a life changing Pakistani dinner! Malai Boti!! Kababs!! Afghani Pulao!!! Qorma!! Kheer!! Special stand up comedy by the extremely beautiful, insanely entertaining and mindboglingly hilarious Steve Fernando from the Pilavullakandi Thekeparampil Usha tribe of the Sempathiarachchi Kuruppuarachchi clan in Sri Lanka. Makes one wonder, what is such an exotic Sri Lankan mammal doing at a Pakistani Eid event? Well, you have to attend to find out.

This event is sponsored by OPEN - Atlanta, Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs in North America. You can (and should) learn more about them at www.openatlanta.org

This event is open to all. We will be collecting membership dues at the event. Entry is free for members and $5 for non-members. We will be accepting all major credit/debit cards and buzzcards for payment.

Like Ryan Gosling once said:

" Pigeon kabootar udan fly, look waikoo asman sky"
