Event Description

Asalamualikum Everyone!

Theme: Forgiveness: Unifying the Community

"O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted." [49:13]

We all have seen this Ayah from the Holy Qu'ran quoted on several different occasions and marveled on it's beauty. But what does this Ayah really mean? How can we implement it's beauty and meaning into our lives?

With the rise of intolerance, we must embody one of Islam's most beautiful virtues: forgiveness. Forgiveness goes beyond an apology. It's love. It's trust. It's tolerance. It's acceptance. Love, trust, tolerance, and acceptance of everyone and everything. When we learn the definition of forgiveness, only then can we prosper as an individual, family, community, society, and Ummah.
