Event Description

Note: We have postponed the march to April 20th.

The 2nd year anniversary of the Syrian revolution is now! The voices of concerned human beings will be heard all over the world! Become a part of history by joining the march down the streets of downtown Atlanta as we call for a free Syria!

What is the Syrian Revolution?

Thousands of Syrians have become victims of the indiscriminate attacks characterizing the regime's bloody crackdown. For over 22 months brutal crimes have claimed the lives of over 70,000 Syrians, forcing more than five hundred thousand families to flee their homes seeking safety in neighboring countries. Some estimates put the number of internally displaced at more than two million. Escalating violence against civilians in Syria has forced thousands of traumatized civilians to live in refugee camps surrounded by barbed-wire fences waiting and wondering when they can return to their normal lives. Each one of them has lost someone or something--a parent, a sibling, a friend, and/or a home. The Syrian people have vowed to never give up until every inch of Syria is free of the regime, until they gain their freedom, dignity, and basic human rights.
