Event Description

Come join the Georgia Tech Muslim Student Association for a banquet dinner with friends of various faiths as we get together to experience fasting and help raise money for charity! Fasting is one way to show sympathy for the unfortunate, and our goal is to bridge the gap between different faiths, cultures, and backgrounds to raise awareness for the hungry.

For each person that fasts, local restaurants and businesses will donate at least $1 to the Atlanta Food Bank. We will have the incredible Shakyh Muhammad Adeyinka Mendes joining us and speaking about bridging the gap between each other and the power of love and humanity. We also have a lot more in store for this inspiring and spiritual night!

Admission is FREE, but we encourage donating some lunch money for someone who really needs it! So join us in this day of fasting and bring your friends along... Your CHANGE can make a CHANGE!
