ISB Executive Director Soumaya Khalifa named as a 2019 “Women Making a Mark” by the Atlanta Magazine in their June edition. She was recognized for building bridges of understanding between Muslims and wider community.

Khalifa founded the Islamic Speakers Bureau of Atlanta and provides Muslims with training and poise in public speaking. Khalifa believes she can help create a positive relationship between Muslims and the wider community. “The more we educate, the more we outreach, the more we talk to each other, the more we can be helpful for the future,” she says.
