On May 24th I-PAC sponsored a meeting with US Congresswoman Lucy McBath. She welcomed the I-PAC delegation at her office in Ssandy Springs, GA.It was a positive and productive meeting where she reiterated her commitment to represent ALL residents of the Sixth District which she represents. We appreciate her pledge to counter islamophobia, pursue a peaceful foreign policy, and her stand against bigoted attacks on women of color. She suppports all her colleagues iincluding her friend Rep. Ilhan Omar. Congresswoman McBath has always supported I-PAC's call for Umty and has demonstrated inclusiveness of the Muslim community. I-PAC endorsed Rep. McBath in the 2018 election and intends to endorse her againn in 2020.
I-PAC thanks Rep. McBath for taking the time to meet with us. We also thank our community leaders Edward Mitchell and Emad Sabbah for their valuable participation.
