A Warm Deed...
As the weather is getting colder and we're all warm and bundled up.. I'm asking for you all to help out the children in need, in the Clarkston Refugee Community here in Georgia.
Our Mission: We are asking for "Winter Wear" donations for children of all ages and genders as well as adults. Please take that time today and purge whats in your closets for the families in need. Or to go out and purchase new/gently used(GoodWill, Consignment Shops) Coats and Winter Wear for the families.
Requesting gently used and new: -Coats and Jackets -Sweaters -Hats, Gloves, Scarves **Highly requested at the time are blankets, comforters, warm bedding for all sizes... for children and adults.
We are specifically asking for "Winter Wear" as other clothing donations are given regularly to the community.
If you would like to make donations, we have arranged drop off spots. Feel free to drop off the items...freshly washed if used, folded and bagged or in boxes at the locations provided below. Please make sure your donations are dropped off by NOVEMBER 15th, 2012 (THURSDAY) we we will be visiting the community on Saturday, Nov 17th.
