The House of Dawah is personally inviting you to come and participate in a climb up Stone Mountain on June 22,2013 starting at 9:30 a.m. to help raise funds and provide meals for the poor, including Syrian refugees in Egypt. As Ramadan approaches, we must take the time to remember our brothers and sisters overseas who are less fortunate and often times may not have enough food or supplies throughout the year. We are reminded in Qur'an "They ask you (O Muhammad) what they should spend in charity. Say;" Whatever you spend with a good heart, give it to parents, relatives, orphans, the helpless, and travelers in need'- The Holy Qur'an, 2:215. Our brothers and sisters of Syria are indeed the helpless ones who have fled their homeland, traveling more than 400 miles to seek refuge in Egypt.
