Assalamu Alaykum Dear Brothers and Sisters, 

Ramadan Kareem to you all!

 Insha'Allah in the spirit of this Blessed month of Ramadan, Sunday July 13th, we will be having a food drive  for families in Clarkston. Because we believe so strongly in giving not only your money- but your time as well, we request that if you are going to donate the items below, then please attend the distribution also. 

 Ramadan is meant to be a time for selflessness and genuine action. Attending will not only give you greater fulfillment inshallah, but also a good feel for what many of these families have experienced and continue to go through. More than anything, getting to know these beautiful families will offer you a better appreciation for the many conveniences we're all blessed with. 

Here is the list of items to support one family. If possible, we would encourage you to sponsor all the items on the list for an entire family:

15-20 lbs Rice - 1 Bag
2-Gallon Canola/Vegetable. Oil - 1 container
5-10 lbs White Flour - 1 packet
10 lbs Sugar - 1 packet
5-10 lbs Dates - 1 Box
Spaghetti - 8 small packets
Pasta Sauce - 3 large Ragu/Presto
Lipton Tea bags - 100 tea bags
Quran - 1 

Cash – Any amount of Zakat or Sadaqa is welcome

Iftaar Sponsorship in Clarkston: Masjid As-Sunnah cost is $500, Masjid Tawheed is $400, and Masjid Al-Mominin is $600. If you are planning on sponsoring an iftaar at any one of these masjids, we invite and encourage you to join in and share the meal with the families.

Encourage the participation and attendance of your children even in the buying process so it may savor the meaning of mercy and he/she be nurtured upon it and grow accustomed to extending his/her hand to the needy with humility.

Insha’Allah the aim is to provide food for about 25 families, car pool from Masjid Momineen- Clarkston and have a maximum of 4 vans going around the Clarkston area to distribute the food items.

Also, please do NOT bring any items to any Masjid or Musallah. This is not a drop-off project, but one that requires you to physically experience it.  Kindly call the below contact for more information.
