The Baitul Salaam Network, Inc. will be 18 years on Saturday, January 17. This non-profit domestic violence awareness organization has provided countless hours of workshop presentations in real time. Through our radio program on www.blogtalkradio.com/baitulsalaam this organization has since September 2007 provided training to help community leaders know more and can be more effective in counseling survivors of domestic abuse. The orgainzation has assisted over 1,700 women and their families with emergency shelter and referrals for other needs such as career/job placement, medical to include mental health services, food, money for bus fare, gas money, etc.
