All film selected are appropriate for all ages.

The Festival will feature international films, independents, shorts, and feature films, and local filmmakers and actors. Our lineup will include films from as far away as Turkey, Iran, Morocco, Rwanda, Senegal, and Norway.

Hours are:

Friday 8pm-midnight (Movie Theater)

Saturday 2pm-6pm (Movie Theater)

Sunday 2pm-6pm (Open Casting Call and Industry Networking mixer at the Deen Media Center)

Our Festival is a family friendly cinematic celebration and highlight of the positive works of Muslim filmmakers and actors. Especially those stories that deal with Islamic history, culture, family, and the Muslim experience in America and abroad. It is also a time of appreciation for the good works of all filmmakers who have produced films that show the best of humanity while also, educating, entertaining, and challenging our thinking.

The DMC Muslim Film Festival is a way of using the arts to promote religious harmony and tolerance among all humanity. It is an extension of the efforts of the Deen Media Center to promote positive Images of Muslims and Islam.
