May peace be upon you! We are happy to announce that CAIR Georgia is now accepting resumes in advance of our first major fundraising banquet, which we will host on Saturday, Feb. 18th, 2017 at The Westin Hotel in Dunwoody, God willing.

Our special guest speakers will include activist Linda Sarsour, civil rights attorney Hassan Shibly, and Nihad Awad, founder and executive director of CAIR National, God willing.

During the banquet, we hope to celebrate what CAIR Georgia accomplished in 2016 and raise enough funds to fulfill our two main goals for 2017:

•Hire Additional Staff, both full-time and part-time, including a: ◦Civil Rights Attorney ◦Assistant to the Executive Director ◦Community Outreach Director ◦Government & Legislative Affairs Director ◦Paralegal

•Establish New Office Location: establish an Atlanta-area CAIR Georgia office with space for other Georgia Muslim groups and activists to utilize.

Here's how you can help us, God willing, accomplish those goals:

•Buy a Ticket: event tickets cost $50 per adult, which also covers a three-course halal meal.

•Sponsor a Table: your mosque or organization can publicly sponsor a table for $500.

•Donate Early: although we plan to fundraise during the event, you can make an early donation by visiting www.cairgeorgia.com
