Project South is kicking off its series of events for the Muslim community on issues relating to government surveillance. We know it's happening, we have seen how it has affected the community, and Project South is working with the community to challenge it. We want to create space for Muslims and folks of South Asian or Middle Eastern descent to learn about, discuss, and work together to combat surveillance targeting our communities. If you are a community member, activist, artist, poet, or someone who wants to learn more about how surveillance works and how to organize against it, then please come out to this event. We will have an OPEN MIC, refreshments, and resources.
